About our Cooking Classes

Stir & Stitch is here to mix it up with a big variety of cooking classes in our purpose built, air-conditioned commercial teaching kitchen.

We believe everyone, (no matter what age, gender, or ability) should know how to cook delicious, inexpensive, fresh food.

+ Get inspired…all dishes are super easy to cook at home for yourself, your friends & family.

+ The classes are about getting back to basics using fresh, simple ingredients that are readily available and don't take forever to prepare.

+ Classes are limited to a maximum of 6 (cooking in pairs) for a more personal experience.  Private classes are also available, please contact Amanda for more information. . 

+ All ingredients & recipes are included.

+ There will be a variety of day, night & weekend classes that will suit everyone.

+ Children from 8 years of age may participate in all classes (except Cook & Dine or otherwise stated) when accompanied by an adult.

After-School Cooking Courses

4 Week Blocks, come for 4 or 8 weeks.

+ Your child/teen will learn valuable life skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives learning how to cook easy & delicious dishes, introducing healthy habits for life in a fun and positive way.

+ Learn all the basics about food & kitchen safety, how to read recipes, choosing ingredients, using fresh, local produce & learning where our food comes from & the best part of all….how to cook them.

+ Each week we will focus on a new cooking method, cooking at least 3 dishes per session including breakfast, lunch, snacks & dinner.

+ The classes will be limited to 6 participants for a more personal experience in our purpose-built, air-conditioned teaching kitchen.

+ Take home the delicious dishes for your family to try.

+ The cost is $44 per week & includes all ingredients & recipes.
