Cancellation & No-Show Policies

If you forget to attend (we do not send reminders, please put on your calendar!)  or have a prior commitment, we are unfortunately unable to provide a refund, credit or transfer if you have not given 48 hours’ notice.

However, if you give us 48 hours’ notice we will be able to issue you with a credit to use towards another class of the same value in a 12-month period, or you can pass your ticket onto a friend to attend instead.

+ All bookings need to be made online on our booking page.
+ Your seat is secured once we receive full payment.
+ We have class minimums to meet, if on the off chance we do not meet them and need to cancel a class we may do so at any time (& I will call to let you know asap). You will be offered a full refund or a credit to attend a class at the same value within a 12-month period.
+ Please set a reminder and double-check workshop dates + times.

Unfortunately, because we have held this spot for you, bought the supplies/ingredients, made the yummy snacks, and turned others away, we cannot issue credits or a refund if you just don’t turn up or cancel at the last minute.

Cooking Class Policies

+ Due to the size of the teaching kitchen, parents are unable to attend cooking classes with their child. However, if you prefer to stay onsite you may take the opportunity to relax in our beautiful outside space if it is not being used for other classes at the time OR please know they are in really good hands & take some time out for yourself.

+ Childrens make up classes are unable to be offered if I have not received notice within 24 hours of class starting that your child will not be here. Please try & find another child to take their place as I will have already purchased the ingredients for the class & have no room in our timetable to offer them. 

+ DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: 

Please note that our kitchen uses all ingredients & we do not have a dedicated space used only for GF/DF/nut free/soy free etc, so we cannot guarantee any traces of these things.

We want to make sure everyone is safe so it is important that we have at least 7 days’ notice to plan & attempt to make adjustments if you or your child are allergic to something.  Please note, some classes are not possible to make adjustments. 

+ As you would understand cooking classes that run smoothly will give everyone the best possible experience and being interrupted by latecomers will throw out the whole routine. Pick up times are just as important, as sometimes classes run back to back & I will be unable to supervise your child.

+ For health and safety reasons please make sure long hair is tied back, covered, flat shoes are being worn, and wearing no loose-fitting clothing.

Sewing Class Policies

+ Due to the size of the sewing studio, parents are unable to attend sewing classes with their child. However, if you prefer to stay onsite you may take the opportunity to relax in our beautiful outside space if it is not being used for other classes at the time.

+ DIETARY REQUIREMENTS: I want to make sure everyone is safe so it is important that I have at least 7 days’ notice to plan & make adjustments if you or your child are allergic to something.

+ As you would understand classes that run smoothly will give everyone the best possible experience and being interrupted by latecomers will throw out the whole routine. Pick up times are just as important, as sometimes classes run back to back & I will be unable to supervise your child.

Just a couple more little things

+ Because this is a space of creativity & peace please take this opportunity to use this as time out from your regular life; this means leaving the kids/babies at home. Find that babysitter & come along for some important YOU time.

+ Alcohol…adult classes are BYO wine or beer only & must be consumed in a responsible manner.
