Sew a Softie - Tuesday 24th September 2024 - 10am to 12pm

Join Amanda in this fun 2-hour 100% hands-on life skills workshop to learn some basic hand stitches making a cute felt softie, it's all up to your imagination! 

The children get free reign of all the materials they could ever imagine. 

Learning these basic skills will be a stepping stone for more advanced skills, develop fine motor skills (& love for sewing) and it is an inexpensive hobby to do anywhere.  

This class will be limited to 8 participants. No experience is necessary.

In this class you will learn:

+ How to do simple straight stitch (I have needles that aren't sharp);

+ How to sew on buttons;

+ How to sew on embellishments;

+ How to sew the two parts together;

+ How to stuff your cute softie.

+ All materials needed to make your softie;
