Classes, Workshops & Gift Vouchers: The Lace Project

We understand this lace was handmade in Belgium in the 1960s.

This gorgeous lace could be used for unlimited projects, for example, wedding gowns, dresses, lingerie, and garment embellishments.  It could also be used for home decor such as curtain accessorising, pillowcases, lampshades, and tablecloths. Lace is also perfect for junk journalling and slow stitching; the possibilities are endless, and the uses are only limited to your imagination.

The lace has been stored safely for the duration of its keep and only occasionally shows blemishes due to its age, although this is rare! It is mostly in perfect condition.

The Lace Project Vision

Since opening Stir & Stitch, we have been looking for a way to give back to the community through cooking class scholarships for families who could do with a little help.

In December 2022, we acquired the most delicious vintage 100% cotton lace that we now call 'The Lace Project'.

Proceeds from 'The Lace Project' will enable us to achieve our long-term vision.
