Cook & Dine FAQ's

What happens at a Private Cook & Dine?

After all guests arrive, we will take your drinks & place them in the coolroom or on ice for you. You will then be taken straight through to our air-conditioned teaching kitchen to prepare a delicious starter.

You then enjoy your starter on the deck under our gorgeous fig tree with your beverage of choice while I set up for your next course. 

You will then come back in to make your delicious entree.

Once you have prepared your dish you will all head out to our beautifully set table & I will plate up & deliver your entree to you, just like at a restaurant! 

It's time to head back to the kitchen to get your main underway.  All the hard work that no one really enjoys will be done for you, like chopping onions!

You are then free to relax outside with your friends, enjoying your mouth-watering main.

What do we need to bring?

All you need to bring is an empty stomach & your beverage of choice.  Please do not eat before you arrive.  There is LOTS of food & I promise I don't make you wait too long to eat.

All ingredients & recipes are supplied & recipes will be emailed to you to recreate these delicious dishes at home.

Are we able to modify menus?

Definitely.  Do you have a food allergy or intolerance? We can make any menu gluten free, dairy free, nut free, vegetarian or vegan.

Can we BYO?

You most certainly can. We have heaps of room in the coolroom, or if you prefer we can grab a bag of ice & place in our big ice bucket.

Are young children allowed?

Sorry, no. This is an adult night out. We think it's important (& safer) for everyone to get a break from the little ones & have some time out.  So grab that babysitter! 

What is the minimum & maximum number of guests?

6 is the minimum number.  We are able to fit a maximum of 15.  If you have more or less please contact us to discuss.

Do we all cook individually?

Nope, we believe in team work so we cook in groups of 2, 3 or 4 depending on the number of guests.

Do we have to wash up?

Definitely not!!  I have staff on hand to do that for you.  Plus, I can't expect you to cook your own dinner & wash up too!!

In fact, all the hard work is done for you, so you can enjoy what you come to do, cook & have fun.

How long does a class go for?

Please allow 3 to 4 hours

Example, if you start at 6pm we need to finish up by 930pm.  We are lucky enough to be situated right across the road from the pub if you wish for your night to continue.

What is the cost?

The cost is $115 per person (Including GST)

How do I make a group booking?

Please contact Amanda to secure a date.  

We will then make your very own private booking page or supply you with a tax invoice & bank details.  This is up to you. Some people like each invited guest to pay separately or some prefer a lump sum. We can work that out together.

I will then treat you to a delicious dessert made especially for you by me (I will supply you with the recipe so you can recreate this at home).
